ARCTIC MONKEYS CONCERT TONIGHT!! yay yay yay yay yay yay!

uni bleh. i hate it and i have no real friends. rofl. yes, they're all imaginary.

but i'm going to try to actually study this semester so don't be all surprised when i get a d-average. ha ha ha.

i've had two lectures so far and the lecturers don't seem to be like those monotonous drones 3/4 of my lecturers were last semester. my maf lecturer is rather odd so i'll quote him.

"i don't have any friends.. because i'm an accountant."

"all your friends will leave you because you do accounting. if you still have friends then you're doing it wrong."

lecturer: "if you're walking on the street and you fall over and injure yourself, what number do you call for help?"
students: "911"
lecturer: "no! if you don't know the real number i won't tell you because you don't deserve to know."

hehe.

anyway, i'm finding myself getting rather sick of work and the song 'all out of love' by air supply and silly SILLY customers. i haet peoplez. more specifically i hate people who:

• own and carry genuine guess bags [they're more hideous than the fakes, i say!]
  
• own and carry fake mimco button bags [DIE!!!]
• block right lane of escalators [especially in the mornings]
  
• are bogans [no further comment]
  

uni resumes next week so i'll only be working 1-2 days/week for the next 17 weeks, as opposed to my 4-5 days/week during holidays. and speaking of uni, i ought to save up for textbooks. and no more spending on clothes or starbucks/easyway/boost for the rest of this week! i told myself on monday morning that i would only spend money on the most essential of essentials, i.e. transport and food. i caved on tuesday and bought a pair of green boots. self-control damn it!

i should also restrict my spending on gadget-y things. in the past six months i've bought:
toshiba laptop $2000
sony camera $530
sony ericsson phone $600
nintendo ds $300 including r4 and sd cards

but i still plan on buying an ipod shuffle. and a psp slim when it comes out in aus. whee!!

today i rewatched season 19 of never mind the buzzcocks and half of black adder goes forth. now i'm patiently waiting for doctor who to finish downloading so i can watch that too. gah, can't believe we're up to the season finale already. but captain jack harkness is finally back <3 whee! torchwood on the tellyvision tomorrow night~

i've an exam tomorrow today [it's past midnight now]. economics. then stats next week and it's all over, red rover. during the month-long holidays i plan on watching pretty much every movie showing at dendy. not at once though. hopefully this plan won't clash with work commitments and everything.

anyway, i seem to have jinxed myself. at the end of last year i relished in the fact that i'd never have to see certain people again. how naive i was! there's a certain person i've seen twice in the city, near my workplace so presumably she works near me. anyhoo, needless to say, i don't particularly like her and i think she realises this, but she still says hi to me in her repulsively fake way. she owes me monies! rofl.

i must study now. i simply must!

i've decided to resume my record collecting! yesterday i popped into red eye on pitt st and bought hunky dory [$4.98] and never mind the bollocks [$14.98]. that brings the total number of records i own up to.. 7? i've no clue. i haven't even listened to any of my records due to my lack of record player.

i hate it when they stick the price sticker on the actual cover.

MANSIZE TISSUES!! i only discovered such things existed last night. as well as candy for men. and drinks that are both "naturally and artificially flavoured". the mind boggles.

in the past couple of days, i've watched 11 episodes of never mind the buzzcocks. it's one of the greatest music quiz shows ever. amstell is adorkable. bill bailey's a regular team captain =D speaking of teh bailey, he's touring here early next year! I MUST GO for he is right at the top of my "must see comedians" list!!
